This air fryer is great. Not very loud, works efficiently and consistently, the presets are well thought out, BUT when it gets halfway through the cook time and beeps every few seconds to tell you to shake your food, if I don’t remove the basket fully and for at least a few seconds it will continue to beep after I put it back. Why does this air fryer think it knows better than me (the human with eyes) about how much to shake my chicken nuggets? My only and biggest pet peeve with the design of this air fryer.

Acabo de usar esta freidora de aire Chefman de 4 cuartos y estoy bastante satisfecho. Cocina rápido, con poco aceite y los resultados crujientes salen muy bien para comidas pequeñas o de dos personas. Me gusta que ocupa poco espacio en la encimera, pero a veces la cantidad que cabe es justa para una familia. En resumen: una gran opción si quieres algo práctico y eficiente para días rápidos en la cocina.

Still learning, so take this review with a grain of salt (pun intended). It is a different appliance than anything I have owned before. I think I am going to really like it. For my trial run I did some frozen breaded precooked chicken chunks, not real challenging. They came out crispy and as good as from the conventional oven, but much faster and it didn’t heat up the kitchen. Cooks and heats more evenly than the microwave. Cleanup should be easy. Probably I will just wipe it out with a paper towel this time, but the cooking basket will easily fit in dishwasher. I only cook for one or two so the small model is perfect for me.

I recently purchased the Chefman 4 QT Compact Air Fryer and it has quickly become one of my favourite kitchen appliances. The size is just right for my small household, and the “Hi-Fry” technology really does deliver a crisp finish — golden fries and perfectly browned chicken with very little oil. The touchscreen controls are intuitive and the basket is non-stick and dishwasher-safe, so cleanup is a breeze. A smart buy if you’re after fast, healthier meals without fuss.

So glad we got the 4quart size. There’s just the two of us and I wasn’t sure what size to get. I got a smaller one and sent that back and ordered this one. This is my second air fryer like this. Much better than our first model. First I like how everything is together when you pull out the basket. What very different from our other one is the second layer inside that allows the grease/oil to strain through. It’s not a second basket, it’s a piece they you pull out and can wipe out the grease. So easy to clean now. Plus we ordered those like basket liners for the inside and wow those really help. It heats up very fast, and came with a good manual. Plus I bought the refrigerator magnets with instructions on how to cook in the air fryer. We have been eating much more healthy and have been buying air fryer frozen air fryer vegetables like steamables. The taste is so much better than the microwave. Love the fact we don’t have to heat up the regular oven that makes the house so hot in the summer. You can make like everything in this. I would recommend buying at least this size or bigger for your household.
